AVLS is about real-time special effects lighting, where three-dimensionality, graphical quality and delivery is important. We tackle an event, stage production or architectural project with the same passion. We use and develop low-voltage LED light systems, striving to create beautiful illumination and lighting installations. With AVLS, darkness is our canvas.

NEWS

Extreme Operations (which incorporates AVLS) has completed two installations for December 2013. A single Twig-Lite and a bespoke LED Star-Lite have been installed at Bristol's Architecture Centre to coincide with the Christmas Design Temporium pop-up shop.
The Twig-Lite is fitted externally on the building facade, whilst the Star-Lite is attached to the plate glass door of the shop. Both lights cycle through a range of colours in a slow dissolve effect, and have attracted much interest from passers by.

Extreme Operations have also completed the installation of special effects lighting at this years "Enchanted Christmas" at Westonbirt Arboretum, providing show lasers, interactive lighting arrays and new production Twig-Lites. Working closely with main lighting contractor Powerline, Extreme Operations have helped to develop the large scale lighting design and
are now operating bespoke effects throughout the 12 christmas show dates.
"Enchanted Christmas" is one of the premier Christmas attractions in the UK, with an illuminated trail through 1 mile of the old arboretum.

AVLS is available to Extreme Operations, based near Bristol, who recently provided and  operated their custom LED Twig-Lite at the main stage of Beautiful Days Festival in Devon.
The twin arrays were fired-up to synchronise with the grand finale display and then painted a gentle colour dissolve, during the end of the event. The LED Twig-Lite can be either stand-alone or DMX desk controlled and it is designed to clamp onto a standard scaffold  pole. The Twigs are adjustable between flat and vertical, allowing various arrays at 10m or 20m intervals. They can also be stacked for complex arrays.

Extreme Ops also lit two site Gator vehicles with RGB LED, which ran all weekend, clearing paths easily and safely, whilst being a spectacle too. Extreme Operations can be contacted at extremeops@hotmail.co.uk

We have been making some new assignable LED cyclorama lights, which are looking good. They are compact and easy to rig, complimenting our existing set-up. We also have a new DMX controller desk and have been programming a new show, which is taking shape.

On the 21st to 24th March, we lit the Arts House in Bristol, giving the mini-rig a shake down.
The 3rd year Birthday Bash stomped on for nearly five continous days and the show looked stunningly three-dimensional, reflecting across Stokes Croft. There is also work on a new mobile stage and a range of new bespoke LED solutions.
